Anam Cara Connections
Where Soul Friends Connect

In Irish anam cara means “soul friend.” It is a spiritual term, not a religious one, just as Anam Cara Connections, founded in 2008, is a spiritual community and not a religious body. When anam caras connect, barriers and walls fall between religions, cultures and genders, revealing the ancient truth that We Are One.

“The anam cara was a person to whom you could reveal the hidden intimacies of your life. This friendship was an act of recognition and belonging. When you had an anam cara, your friendship cut across all convention and category. You were joined in an ancient and eternal way with the friend of your soul.” –John O’Donohue   http://www.johnodonohue.com/
